I want to try and keep this as a brief guide to some of the best accessible cafes in the north of England. Its not intended to be comprehensive, but if we find somewhere good, we'd like to share it with you. If you have anywhere you like to go then maybe you'd like to share it too.

Hi Lorraine
I recommend the Copper Kettle in Bamburgh. Great tea, yummy cakes and toasties and a member of the Tea Guild or something similar.
I'm pretty sure the main cafe itself is accessible but unfortunately there are no accessible toilets.
It's great if you're in lovely Bamburgh anyway.
Best,
Melissa

Any other ideas for teashops. I am staying near Kendal in a couple of weeks so could do with other spots for refreshment!
